Prayers of the Faithful
Hear us, O Lord.
For the repose of the soul of Sr. Mary Germaine Roussel, that she may enjoy in heaven the fruits of a lifetime of service to Church and to Catholic education, we pray to the Lord.
For the family and friends of Sr. Mary Germaine, especially for Sr. M. Osanna Hymel, Sister Germaine's faithful friend and companion for many years, that the Holy Spirit may be their strength and consolation during this time of sorrow, we pray to the Lord.
For the Dominican Sisters of the Congregation of St. Mary
in thanksgiving to God for their ministry to Catholic education, and for their ministry to St. Joan of Arc School, we pray to the Lord.
For St. Joan of Arc School which was Sr. Germaine's life's work, her pride, and her joy, that it may continue to grow and flourish in its ministry of providing Catholic education to God's children, we pray to the Lord.
For an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life, that there may be more young people to commit themselves to living a life of service to the Lord, and his people, we pray to the Lord.
Hear us, O Lord.
